Privacy Policy
Auto Aesthetics Mobile Detailing LLC runs this website and the mobile detailing service behind it. This page explains what we collect when you ask for a quote or book a detail, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We kept it in plain English, because a privacy policy nobody can read protects nobody.

This policy is a starting draft prepared for Auto Aesthetics Mobile Detailing. It is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by an attorney. It requires review by counsel before launch.
Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
The business behind this policy
Auto Aesthetics Mobile Detailing is a mobile detailing service in Broome County, New York, operating as Auto Aesthetics Mobile Detailing LLC. We come to you, so there is no shop and no public storefront address. Where this policy says "we," that is who it means.
What this policy applies to
This covers aesdetailing.com and every form, booking widget, and phone number you reach through it, plus the customer information we hold because you booked a detail with us, whether you found us through search or because a neighbor passed along our number.
What this policy does not cover
Some things you click here are run by other companies, and their own terms govern what happens once you land there. That includes our booking and payment flow, provided by Square, and our Google Business Profile. Both are named in the sharing section below.
The Information We Collect
What you type into a form
Our quote form asks for your name, phone number, and email address, then for what we need to price the job: the year, make, model, and rough size of the vehicle, the service you want, the town or address where it will be, the dates that work for you, and anything you add in the notes. That last box is free text, so please keep anything sensitive out of it.
What you enter when you book or pay
Booking and payment run through Square, embedded on our site, so when you book you are entering information into Square's system and Square handles the card details as the processor. We see the booking, the service, and the amount, and we never receive or store your full card number.
What gets collected automatically while you browse
Like most websites, this one records some technical information on its own: the pages you visited, roughly where you were, the browser and device you used, how you arrived, and your IP address. Our host keeps standard server logs, and we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to make sense of the traffic. Cookies play a part in that, covered in full on our cookie policy.
What happens when you call us
Calls to the number shown on this website may be routed through a call tracking service, which records the number you called from, the time, the length of the call, and which page sent you to us. That is how we tell whether our marketing produces real phone calls. Calls are not recorded, and if that ever changes we will say so here first.
Why We Collect It
To quote the job accurately
A detailing quote depends on the vehicle and its condition, so the make, size, and description you give us is what lets us come back with a real number instead of a guess. Without it we would have to pad the price to cover ourselves.
To schedule you and show up
A mobile service that does not know where to go is not a service, so we need your phone number, your email, and the address where the vehicle will be. Those details also let us confirm the appointment and tell you if weather is moving it.
To do the work, get paid, and follow up
Your booking and payment details, held mostly inside Square, turn an appointment into a completed job with a receipt attached. We keep enough of a record to know what we did to your vehicle, which matters if you come back for a maintenance visit, and we may check in afterward to ask how the work held up.
To measure which marketing actually works
Analytics and call tracking exist for one reason: to tell us which pages, searches, and ads produce real customers, so we stop paying for the ones that do not. That is aggregate, business-level use, and we are not building a profile of you personally.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as California defines that term. If that ever changes, this page changes first, and the opt-out described in the rights section becomes available.
How Long We Keep It
Quote requests and customer records
We keep quote requests and job records while we have an active relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward, because a customer coming back two years later for a coating inspection is normal here. Records tied to payment and tax obligations are kept as long as New York law requires.
Website and analytics data
Analytics data sits on Google's standard retention settings, which measure in months rather than years, and server logs cycle out on the host's normal schedule. None of it is meant to be a permanent archive.
Asking us to delete it sooner
You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless a specific record has to be kept for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. Email [email protected], tell us what you want removed, and we will confirm what was deleted and what had to stay.
How We Protect It
The safeguards we have in place
The site runs over an encrypted connection, card data is handled inside Square rather than by us, and access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to run jobs. New York's SHIELD Act requires businesses to maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards over residents' private information, and that is the standard we are aiming at.
What we ask of you
Please do not send anything sensitive through a form's notes field or through ordinary email. Nobody here needs your driver's license number, your bank details, or a photo of your card, so if you get a message claiming to be us and asking for any of that, it is not us. Call (607) 341-0037 and check.
The hard limit
No website and no company can promise perfect security, and we are not going to be the ones who do. We use reasonable measures for a business of this size, and if a breach ever affected your information we would notify you as New York law requires.
Your Privacy Rights
Rights that apply to everyone
Wherever you live, you can email us and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct something wrong, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. We handle those requests the same way for every customer, without making you prove you live in a particular state first.
If you are a California resident
California's Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives residents specific rights that we honor: the right to know what personal information we collected, where it came from, why, and who we disclosed it to, the right to request deletion, the right to request correction of anything inaccurate, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, which as of the date above we do not do. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for reasonable proof of that authorization.
Non-discrimination
Exercising any of these rights costs you nothing and changes nothing about how we treat you. We will not refuse you service, charge a different price, or do slower or lower-quality work because you asked us to delete your information.
How to make a request
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us what you want: a copy of what we hold, a correction, or a deletion. Include the name, phone number, and email address you used with us so we can find the right record and confirm it is really you. We aim to respond within forty five days and will tell you if we need longer.
Children's Privacy
Who this site is for
This website and this service are meant for adults, since detailing gets booked by people responsible for a vehicle. We do not direct any part of this site at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If it happens anyway
If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information through this website, email [email protected] and we will delete it. You do not need to explain yourself or fill out a form for that one.
Links to Other Websites
Where those links go
A few places on this site send you elsewhere: the booking flow into Square, our Google Business Profile, and our Instagram page. Those are other companies' properties, linked because they are useful, not because we control them.
What happens once you leave
Once you land on someone else's site, their privacy policy applies and ours stops. We cannot see, change, or delete what they collect, so their terms are worth a look if the answer matters to you.
Visitors From Outside the United States
Where your information is handled
Auto Aesthetics Mobile Detailing operates in New York and serves customers in New York and northeastern Pennsylvania. Our website, our hosting, and the services we use are based in the United States, so anything you send us is processed here, under United States law.
If you are reading this from somewhere else
You are welcome to browse, and if your home country gives you privacy rights beyond what is described above, email [email protected] and tell us what you are asking for. We will do what we reasonably can. We do not market outside our service area, so this section is here for completeness.
Changes to This Policy
When we update it
We update this page when the way we handle information changes, which in practice means when we add or remove a tool, a form, or a tracking service. Rewriting the policy is part of installing the tool, not an afterthought.
How to tell what is current
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page is the version marker. If a change is significant, we will say what changed rather than quietly swapping the text.
How to Contact Us
The two ways to reach us
Email [email protected] or call (607) 341-0037, Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are a mobile service with no public storefront, so email is usually faster for a privacy question and the phone is better if you would rather explain it out loud.
What to include
Include the name, phone number, and email address you used when you contacted or booked with us. That is what lets us find the right record instead of guessing, and it keeps someone else from asking about your data.
This policy is a starting draft and is provided for information only. It is not legal advice.
